ERC Institute (ERCI), formerly known as the Asian Centre for Professional Excellence (ACPE), is a Private Education Institution (PEI) established in 2003 by ERC Holdings to provide education with a difference and raise the bar in education services in Singapore. ERC Holdings was founded by a group of Singaporean entrepreneurs in 1999 to cultivate a strong entrepreneurial culture in the city-state.
The youngest private provider to attain the Singapore Quality Class (PEO) certification and the only Private Education Institution to be awarded with the Singapore Service Class certification, ERCI aims to become a leading education provider in Asia. The institution is working towards achieving this goal by continuously perfecting its business model and applying a holistic approach to encourage entrepreneurship through specialised education, training and consultancy services that are tailor-made for the current and regional business environment.
With over 5000 graduates, ERCI delivers a range of academic programmes and courses in Business, Entrepreneurship Management, Finance, Wealth Management and Tourism and Hospitality Management. With strong Singapore government support to encourage its citizens to upgrade their qualifications, there is an ever-increasing level of interest in ERCI’s Diploma programmes, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes offered by its awarding partners.
ERCI works closely with government bodies, such as the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and provides a wide range of value-add programmes, including Angel Funding, mentoring, networking, local and overseas company internships, all with the intent of assisting students in building strong business networks for career establishment and progression.
ERCI’s main campus occupies more than 17,000 square meters of space and houses 18 classrooms with state-of-the-art teaching facilities to accommodate more than 400 students. Recreational facilities include basketball courts, soccer fields, barbeque pits, and a golf range. Students are welcome to use the institution’s research and study library.
All AIB and ERCI students can also take advantage of the complementary access to an extensive online library (ProQuest) as well as comprehensive complimentary course materials for each BBA and MBA subject.
ERCI maintain low facilitator-student ratios to ensure that students benefit from a more personalised approach.
