Teaching and Learning Manager
We are seeking a Manager to take responsibility for a number of Academic duties relating to Teaching and Learning within our business school.
These duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Student counselling who are 'at risk' or need support
- Helping students with high level feedback on their exams and assignments
- Helping students with study skills
- Sourcing, interviewing, inducting and performance managing lecturers, markers and writers of our materials
- Analysing grade statistics and reports and taking action
Substantial experience is not required as on the job training will be provided.
The key attributes we are seeking are:
- At least Masters level qualified
- Strong Academic ability, capable of explaining academic concepts to students as well as speaking to markers and lecturers to help improve their performance
- Excellent at quickly and effectively solving problems
- Excellent communicator (both written and spoken)
- Experience in a commercial enterprise preferable
- Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, the internet etc
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
