Facilitative Project Consultancy

Facilitative Consultancy involves a Gibaran Facilitative Consultant (GFC) working with the manager and his/her team in their department or divisions in the development and implementation of projects.

Prior to undertaking a consultancy project, we encourage our potential clients to ask themselves the following questions:

• Do we have an organisational issue that will require us to employ
consultants to resolve since we do not, at present, have the
competencies to address this issue?

• Do we have existing staff who, if given the correct guidance,
knowledge, support and mentoring, could work towards resolving
this issue?

• Do we want to develop our staff and build sustainability into our
organisation?

The Facilitative Consultancy process consists of three phases:

Preparation Phase
In the preparation phase, the manager and his/her team will work with the GFC in planning the project.

Implementation Phase
During this phase, the GFC will work with the manager and his/her team in the implementation of the project.

Evaluation Phase
The evaluation of the project is a continuous process of monitoring, reflecting, modifying and improving the plan all through the journey of the project.
