Gibaran Research Centre carries the name of the educational body (Gibaran Learning Group) that was formed originally to provide courses, research and consultancy based on principles of work-applied learning.
In July 2011, Gibaran Learning Group and its associate institutes were consolidated as a single higher education entity, Australian Institute of Business (AIB). Because of the importance attached to research in the former organization – and its distinctive focus on work-applied learning – it was decided to carry forward the name into the present one, under the rubric of Gibaran Research Centre (GRC).
Research in the Centre takes various forms and is considered in the following sections:
- - About the Centre
- - Research Degrees
- - Gibaran Journal of Applied Management
- - Research Organization and Opportunities
- - Research Activities
