Dr. Danilo Lopono Beteto Weger joined AIB in 2016, having worked previously at the University of Queensland (Australia). Danilo is currently a lecturer in finance, with a strong research interest in the modelling of financial crises, an area he became interested in during his period as a graduate student at the University of Southern California.
Originally from Brazil, Danilo began his formal training as an academic at the University of São Paulo. After completing his master studies, Danilo moved to Los Angeles to pursue a PhD degree in economics at USC, under the supervision of the highly respected Professor Michael Magill.
Danilo is a passionate about the field of finance and enjoys working with students on their formal learning journey.
