Ros holds a BA and Graduate Diploma in Welfare Law from the University of Newcastle (Australia), a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design and a Master of Professional Education and Training from Deakin University (Australia). Ros obtained her PhD at Southern Cross University (Australia).
She is also a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute (FAHRI) and the Australian Institute for Training and Development (FAITD) and is a Co-Convenor of the Mixed Methods Research Special Intertest Group of ANZAM.
She is an Executive Board member of the Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA) and a member of AHRI Advisory Research Panel.
Ros previously worked at Curtin University in Western Australia as a Research Fellow and prior to this was Senior Lecturer and Head of HRM discipline at CQUniversity in Queensland and Lecturer in HRM at Southern Cross University also in Queensland. Ros has taught undergraduate and postgraduate subjects in several countries (China, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Fiji islands).
Ros has supervised several DBA and PhD candidates to completion and continues to supervise and conduct research methodology workshops in Australia and overseas.
In 2013 Ros was invited to become a member of the International Steering Committee for the Malaysian Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA) which was in the process of developing a Finance Services Qualification system for Malaysia. Following this one year committee period the FAA also secured Ros as an expert consultant to assist them to design and develop their national guidelines for RPL and Assessment Centres. FAA is an International quality assurance and accreditation body supported by Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission Malaysia.
