AIB announced as Australia’s most influential LinkedIn brand
The Australian Institute of Business (AIB) has officially been announced as the most influential brand in Australia on LinkedIn by the world’s largest professional online network.
AIB took the #1 position above telecommunications giant Telstra, ranked #2, and Commonwealth Bank, which was ranked #3. Other companies in the top 10 included some of Australia’s top financial institutions, Optus and Qantas Airways.
According to LinkedIn ANZ Marketing Solutions Director Matt Tindale, the most effective brands on LinkedIn are using a mix of reach, frequency and engagement to boost engagement.
Most of the companies who made the top of LinkedIn’s most influential brands list worldwide are consistently publishing company updates and have employees actively sharing content and publishing long-form posts.
With more than 30,000 followers, AIB’s LinkedIn page is an invaluable professional platform to the business school, offering our prospective students, current students and its more than 2000 registered alumni worldwide with endless networking opportunities.
AIB Joint-CEO Joel Abraham said the social networking platform is perfect for AIB’s community members to connect, engage, interact and learn.
“The Australian Institute of Business is committed to providing valuable content to our students, graduates and the broader business community seeking to further their personal and professional lives,” Mr Abraham said.
The ranking is based on LinkedIn’s Content Marketing Score and has been featured across various media sources including Dynamic Business, CMO, B&T and Marketing magazine. The ranking is calculated by measuring a brand’s unique engagement (gauged through social actions) divided by the brand’s total target audience.
