Dr. Parth Patel

Biography

Dr. Parth Patel is a lecturer at the Australian Institute of Business. Dr. Patel has a PhD in Management from the University of Newcastle (AACSB Accredited) and holds a Master of International Business (MIB) from the University of Wollongong. He also has an MBA and BBA (Hons.) from India. Dr. Patel has over eight years' experience working in the Australian higher education sector, teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate business courses at leading Australian universities and private higher education institutions, including: the University of Newcastle, the International College of Management Sydney, Federation University, Melbourne Institute of Technology, Charles Sturt University and S. P. Jain School of Global Management.

Dr. Patel is an active researcher in the field of International Management and International HRM and has presented his research in leading domestic and international conferences including Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy (ANZIBA), British Academy of Management (BAM) and Academy of Management (AOM), USA. He also regularly reviews research papers for conferences including the Academy of International Business (AIB), USA, European International Business Academy (EIBA), and European Academy of Management (EURAM).

Dr. Patel sits on the editorial board of the Review of International Business and Strategy Journal and is a regular peer reviewer for the International Journal of Emerging Markets. He is a member of the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI) and holds industry experience as a recruitment consultant for Chandler MacLeod, a premier Australian recruitment and consulting organisation.
