Discovering a high-quality MBA
A high-quality MBA program is one of the most popular means to accelerate your career path, but how do you know you are choosing the right MBA program?
Not all institutions are equal, they have different priorities and values, and offer different levels of support and resources. Here at AIB, our number one priority is the needs of our students, so they can excel and achieve their career ambitions fast.
As an online-first provider, our program is intentionally developed around the online student. We offer a comprehensive curriculum and a wide range of tools to help you succeed from your very first day in the program to your last.
THE AIB ONLINE MBA | TRADITIONAL MBAs | |
---|---|---|
Practicality | Assessments based on your workplace or business give you tangible plans and strategies to implement. | Generally, a heavy focus on academic theory and case studies on other companies. |
Flexibility | 100% online learning allows you to study when and where you like, fitting seamlessly around your life. | Having to work your schedule around their program. |
Support | Dedicated advisors at every point of your journey, including a Course Advisor, Enrolment Advisor, Academic Skills Advisor, Referencing and Library Support Team. | Generally impersonal student and academic support (some offer “email only” support). |
Faculty | Highly qualified and experienced faculty with demonstrable industry success, plus industry guest speakers from learning global organisations. | Often career academics with limited practical experience. |
Heritage | Almost 40 years of heritage in MBA education, with over 15 years of online experience building programs intentionally developed for the online student. | Most have resisted moving online and have simply transferred in-person elements online as a reaction to the pandemic. |
Learning Resources | Subjects have carefully designed weekly online modules to work though, are regularly reviewed by the academic team and input from leading industry professionals to ensure real-world relevance, practicality and integrity. | Due to high levels of bureaucracy and less available support for enhancing subjects, it typically takes a lot longer to implement changes to coursework |
