Fully Accredited in Australia. Internationally Recognised.

Accreditation is one of the most important factors to consider when weighing up your study options. It is an endorsement provided by a trusted authority that validates the competence, credibility, and integrity of the institution and courses they offer.

Our range of accreditations and listings ensure that, as a graduate of AIB, your qualification will be respected and recognised globally by both government and industry.

Here is a snapshot of our range of accreditations, listings and memberships:

Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)

We are accredited within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is a quality assured national framework of qualifications in the school, vocational education and training (VET), and higher education sectors in Australia.

The Framework links together all these qualifications and is a highly visible, quality-assured national system of educational recognition which promotes lifelong learning and a seamless and diverse education and training system.

Tertiary Education Quality & Standards Agency (TEQSA) National Register

We are registered on the TEQSA National Register as a Higher Education Provider in Australia and our Higher Education courses are accredited by TEQSA. Therefore our courses are also listed on the TEQSA National Register: http://www.teqsa.gov.au/national-register/provider/prv12090.

TEQSA is an independent statutory authority, established by the Australian Government in 2011 as per the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) Act 2011. TEQSA registers and evaluates Higher Education Providers and their courses as per the Higher Education Standards Framework, particularly the Threshold Standards.

Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)

We are listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), the official Australian Government website that lists all Australian education providers to offer courses to people studying in Australia on student visas and the courses offered.

Education providers who wish to offer courses to international students on a student visa must be registered on CRICOS. http://cricos.education.gov.au/Institution/InstitutionDetails.aspx?ProviderID=1390

International Association of Universities (IAU)

We are listed on the online database of the International Association of Universities (IAU) and included in IAU’s International Handbook of Universities.

IAU, founded in 1950, is the UNESCO-based worldwide association of higher education institutions which brings together institutions and organisations from some 120 countries.

Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)

CHEA is a United States-based association of 3,000 degree-granting colleges and universities. It maintains an International Directory containing contact information of over 450 quality assurance bodies, accreditation bodies and Ministries of Education in 175 countries. These quality assurance and accreditation bodies have been authorised to operate by their respective governments either as agencies of the government or as private (non-governmental) organisations. The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) are both listed on CHEA.

AIB is a member of the CHEA International Quality Group (IQG).
