Why did you decide to study an MBA?

My undergrad was a business degree at the University of Queensland. An MBA was always on my to-do list. Finding the right academic institution to do it through was the challenge. After researching all the ones in Australia and several overseas, cost-value analysis of the MBA here at AIB came out on top.

How long did it take you?

It took a little longer than normal, due to my work commitments. I took four years to complete this MBA and I’m grateful for the AIB for allowing extensions of time, given my work situation.

How did the support of the AIB keep you going throughout your MBA journey?

The support offered by the AIB staff was excellent. They always returned your emails and phone calls within a timely manner, and that’s critical to understanding issues and getting your assessments in on time.

Tell us about the networking opportunities you received from the AIB. Did you tap into the online student communities, and if so, what did you get out of it?

The online student facilities and the online networking also proved invaluable to help you benchmark yourself against other students. All the issues they were facing were the ones that I faced, and it was excellent to know that I wasn’t alone and you could use the network of the other students to resolve your issues.
