How has the AIB MBA helped you with any type of career progression or career success?

The MBA helped me with career progression and success immediately. I was in Queensland when I completed the MBA and then I shortly thereafter got a promotion and moved to Victoria and took on the sales manager role. I was in a business development role prior to finishing; after I finished and told my bosses that I’d finished, I was promoted to sales manager.

What were you afraid of when you first started the MBA?

When I first started the MBA I was afraid of failing. However, when I got into the online material and realised how really available it was, no matter what the work schedule I had, I knew that I had access to the material that I needed. It was very flexible, and I could work to the schedule that I had put together. In the end the fear quickly went away.

What were the best aspects of studying online with AIB?

The best aspect of studying online was definitely the flexibility – you could do it whenever you had the time. Depending on what work you had on at the time, you could just adjust your schedule to suit. The material is available 24/7, so that made it much easier than having to be in a classroom.
