The $1 Enrolment Offer is designed to support students who have disengaged from their study of a Master of Business Administration or a Graduate Certificate of Management course by offering them the opportunity to enrol in a subject offered in Term 2, 2025 for a nominal fee of $1. The offer is subject to the following terms and conditions and you should read them carefully and ensure you understand them before applying for this offer.  

Eligibility criteria:  To be eligible for the $1 Enrolment Offer, students must not be enrolled in any subject forming part of the Master of Business Administration or Graduate Certificate of Management (Eligible Course) as at the date of commencement of this offer, and otherwise must meet all of the following criteria:  

  • Enrolment Status:  At the time of applying for enrolment in a subject under the terms of this offer, or otherwise notifying AIB of their intent to take up this offer, the student must hold an “ongoing” enrolment status with AIB in either a Master of Business Administration or a Graduate Certificate of Management (Eligible Course), or must otherwise have submitted an application for re-enrolment in an Eligible Course.  Enrolment in a subject under the terms of this offer is at all times conditional on and subject to the student, as at the Subject Start Date, holding an “ongoing” enrolment status in the Eligible Course of which the subject forms part.
  • Commencement of Course: The student must have been first enrolled in the Eligible Course no earlier than 1 January 2017. 
  • Minimum Attempt: Subject always to the Inactivity Period condition below, the student must have been previously enrolled, and remained enrolled as at the relevant Census Date, in at least one subject forming part of the Eligible Course.  A student who has not, at any time prior to applying for enrolment in a subject under the terms of this offer, been enrolled in any other subject forming part of the Eligible Course (or a previous offering of the same subject) and remained so enrolled as at the Census Date for that subject will not be eligible to take up this offer.
  • Inactivity Period:  A period of at least 12 months must have elapsed between the End Date of the subject (or subjects, if delivered contemporaneously in the same term) most recently completed (or otherwise attempted) by the student as part of their study of the Eligible Course and the Subject Start Date of the subject in respect of which enrolment is sought under this offer without the student having been enrolled, and remaining enrolled as at the relevant Census Date, in any  further subject offered as part of the Eligible Course.  
  • Fee Clearance: The student must have no outstanding fees related to their enrolment in the Eligible Course at the time of application for enrolment in a subject under the terms of this offer.

Additional Terms and Conditions:   

Enrolment Period: This offer may only be redeemed with respect to enrolment in subjects delivered in Term 2, 2025.

Eligible Subjects: This offer may be redeemed with respect to enrolment in any subject delivered as part of an Eligible Course in the Enrolment Period as defined above (including any elective or specialisation subject), with the exception of the Final Project subject (9050PROJ).

Standard Enrolment Conditions: In addition to the Eligibility Criteria above specific to this offer, students must also meet all other general preconditions to enrolment in a subject as would ordinarily be required to be met, including without limitation any preconditions or requirements to be satisfied under AIB’s Academic Progress Policy and Procedure.  Enrolment under the terms of this offer is at all times in AIB’s absolute discretion and subject to the operation of AIB’s own policies and relevant legislative provisions concerning student enrolment.

Fee: The tuition fee for eligible students under this offer is AUD $1. This offer and fee apply only to one attempt at the relevant subject. Student residents in Australia and all other countries, excluding Canada and New Zealand, who take up this offer will be charged $1 (AUD).  Student residents of Canada will be charged $1 (CAD), and student residents of New Zealand will be charged $1 (NZD).  Payment of this fee will be as per the student’s nominated payment type.    

Subject Capacity: The opportunity to take up this offer is subject to the availability of places in subjects delivered during the Enrolment Period. AIB reserves the right to limit enrolment based on class capacity. If an eligible student desires to enrol in a subject delivered in Term 2, 2025 under the terms of this offer, but that subject offering is at capacity, AIB may, at its discretion, offer the student the opportunity to enrol in that subject in a subsequent term for the same fee of $1. In any case:

  • if the student declines to enrol in the alternative term identified by AIB, the offer to enrol under these terms will lapse and AIB will have no further obligation to the student in relation to the offer or otherwise under these terms; and
  • if the student accepts the offer to enrol in the relevant subject in a term subsequent to Term 2, 2025 then, notwithstanding the Inactivity Period condition of this offer, they will not lose the entitlement to undertake that subject for a fee of $1.00 should they subsequently successfully enrol in any other subject in the interim period between their application for enrolment under this offer and the Census Date of the relevant subject.

Non-Transferable: This offer is non-transferable and may only be applied to the eligible student’s enrolment in the relevant subject. It cannot be combined with any other offers.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: AIB reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time. Any changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated to students.
