Kasun is currently a lecturer in management at AIB. He had over a decade of work experience in the industry and achieved the Chartered Engineer [CEng] status in recognition of the significant contribution he made to the industry through developing innovative engineering and business solutions. He also has nearly eight years experience in teaching in higher education and engaging with research and scholarship.
Kasun completed his Doctorate in Management at Edinburgh University Business School, UK. Kasun also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. His current research and consultancy interests are in the specialised areas of business model innovation, project management, technology and operations strategy.
