  • Cropped or partially cut off
  • Blurry, out of focus, or difficult to read
  • In black and white without certification
  • Of an expired document

Please note: If the name on the document differs from your current name, you will be required to provide proof of the name change. This proof may include documents such as a marriage certificate, divorce certificate or a formal change of name certificate/deed poll.

* Every province and territory operates a vital records office responsible for managing birth, death, and marriage certificates. To obtain your records, you must reach out to the relevant province or territory where you currently reside or were born.

2. Up-to-date resume

Prepare a current resume (curriculum vitae) showing a detailed history of your work experience. Be sure to include:

  • Work experience and achievements: List your relevant work experience in reverse chronological order, starting with your most recent job. For each position, be sure to include the company’s name, location, and duration of your employment with start and finish date and bullet points highlighting your responsibilities and personal achievements.
  • Skills: Within each role, you must showcase skills in areas such as financial management, project management, leadership and budgeting, as applicable.

3. English Language Proficiency

Our program is conducted entirely in English, and all candidates must meet AIB’s English proficiency requirements, irrespective of their location. In areas or nations with more than one official language, documentation proving that your previous education was in English may be necessary. For more information, visit AIB’s English Requirements.

4. Only if relevant: Proof of Name Change

If the name on any document uploaded to your application differs from your current name, you will be required to provide proof of the name change.

Preparation for your entry pathway

There are multiple ways to qualify for entry into the program. You only need to meet the requirements for one of the entry pathways below — you do not need to complete all of them.

For more information on direct MBA and GCM pathway entry requirements, please visit our Admissions Criteria page.

Once you’ve identified the entry pathway that best matches your qualifications and experience, you’ll need to provide the supporting documentation listed for that pathway, in addition to the documents outlined above.

If you’re applying through a qualification-based pathway, your qualification must meet the relevant Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level. If you’re unsure how your Canadian qualification compares, our Course Advisors can help you assess its equivalency before you apply. You can also learn more about AQF qualification levels on the Australian Qualifications Framework website.
