Katische is the Chief Information Officer at Defence Housing Australia (DHA), overseeing the technology function within the organisation and leading a team of 75 strategic and operational staff. She is currently responsible for a significant refresh of DHA’s systems and infrastructure, supporting the organisation’s new operating model. Katische is responsible for the IT, ICT and cyber security strategies and specialises in enterprise change management. She’s passionate about initiating and driving meaningful change programs and investing in organisational culture as a success factor in realising strategic objectives.
Over her 25-year career, Katische has held various business leadership roles across private, not-for-profit and public sector organisations. Prior to her current role, she was the Director of Innovation and Strategy at Transport Canberra and City Services and Innovation Manager at DHA. She also held the position of Bid and Tenders Manager with Thales Australia, supporting system integration and biometric solutions.
Katische is passionate about mentoring others and leveraging leadership as a mechanism for people to grow and excel.
