Carlie Gross

Carlie is the General Manager of People and Culture for the Royal Flying Doctors Service (South Eastern Section), an iconic brand and aero-medical service provider to rural and remote Australia. In her multi-faceted role she is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, driving the people strategy across the business. She is also responsible for organisational design, employee and industrial relations, resource planning, operational and human resource policies, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training and development.

Throughout her career Carlie has gained expansive experience in Human Resources, managing complex and large international workforces and leading substantial culture changes, including in pre- and post-joint venture environments. She also holds a proven track-record for the improvement of capability to support the execution of business strategy and delivery of operations in line with existing and evolving organisational visions.

Prior to her time at the Royal Flying Doctors Service, she held senior and global roles in multi-national organisations and has lead major business and change projects including mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, international business and workforce establishment, diversity and inclusion assignments and organisational development.
