The Leadership Re-enrolment Offer is designed to support students who have previously failed the 8001LEAD Leadership subject by offering them an opportunity to re-enrol for a nominal fee of $1. You must read the following terms and conditions carefully before applying for this offer.   

Eligibility criteria:    

To be eligible for the Leadership Re-enrolment Offer, students must meet all the following criteria:   

  • Enrolment Period: The student must have previously enrolled in a Leadership subject in the period Term 1, 2022 to Term 5, 2024.  
  • Academic Performance: The student must have received a non-passing grade as their final academic result in their first attempt at the Leadership subject. Non-passing grades includes an enrolment in the Leadership subject that resulted in any of the grades of Fail (F), Withdrawal Fail (WF) or Did Not Sit (DNS).  Note: Students who have received an MC (medical/compassionate) are not eligible for this offer.     
  • One Attempt Only: To be eligible for this offer, applicants must not have more than one prior attempt at the Leadership subject.   
  • Re-enrolment Period: The student must apply to re-enrol in a Leadership offering that is scheduled to take place no later than Term 6.5, 2025.  Note: Students who failed a Leadership subject between Term 1, 2022, and Term 5, 2024, AND who have applied for and enrolled in a qualifying Leadership offering from Term 6.5, 2024 onwards prior to 30th of September 2024, are eligible for this offer. For those eligible students, the tuition fee will be adjusted to $1. If the full fee has already been paid, eligible students will be reimbursed the fee paid minus $1.   
  • Fee Clearance: The student must have no outstanding fees related to their first attempt at the Leadership subject with AIB at the time of application for re-enrolment.   

Additional Terms and Conditions:    

Fee: The tuition fee for eligible students under this offer is AUD $1. This offer and fee apply only to one additional attempt in the Leadership subject. Student residents in Australia and all other countries, excluding Canada and New Zealand, who take up this offer will be charged $1 (AUD).  Student residents of Canada will be charged $1 (CAD), and student residents of New Zealand will be charged $1 (NZD).  Payment of this fee will be as per the student’s nominated payment type.     

Offering Capacity: The opportunity to take up this Re-enrolment offer is subject to the availability of places in the Leadership unit during the offer period. AIB reserves the right to limit enrolment based on class capacity. If the eligible student’s desired term is at capacity, and places are available in an alternative term within the offer period, the student will be offered the opportunity to enrol in that alternative term at the same fee of $1.   If that alternative term is not accepted by the student, the offer to re-enrol under these terms will lapse and AIB will have no further obligation to the student.  If there are no alternative places available in any other term during the offer period, the offer will be deemed fully subscribed and closed, and no further opportunity to re-enrol on these terms will be offered. 

Non-Transferable: This offer is non-transferable and may only be applied to the eligible student’s re-enrolment in the Leadership subject. It cannot be combined with any other offers. 

Changes to Terms and Conditions: AIB reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer. Any changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated to students.
