2026 CEO Magazine Online MBA Rankings: Celebrating 5 Years of Tier One Global Status
We’re proud to announce that for the fifth consecutive year, the Australian Institute of Business (AIB) has achieved Tier One status in CEO Magazine’s Global Online MBA Rankings. In 2026, AIB’s online MBA was ranked 6th in Australia and 24th in the world, maintaining our position among the top global programs in an increasingly competitive space.
This year CEO Magazine evaluated 340 programs from 152 business schools in its largest ever benchmarking cycle. Their ranking system serves as an independent trust indicator, evaluating programs against rigorous quality and performance criteria including quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation and faculty-to-student ratio.
Unlike many institutions that have only recently adapted to online learning, AIB has been leading the way with high-quality, flexible online education for years. Our consistent Tier One recognition is a testament to AIB’s ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation, with modern education that evolves with the needs of today’s professionals.
Reflecting on the achievement, Professor Darius Pfitzner Academic Dean at AIB, shared:
Across our community of more than 20,000 alumni in over 100 countries, along with our academics and professional staff, this is something we’ve built together. I feel incredibly proud to be part of this community and to see the impact you’re making in your organisations and industries. Thank you for everything you bring to AIB. What we’re celebrating today is only possible because of you.
