5 Minutes with MBA Graduate Jason Steward
We recently caught up with MBA Graduate Jason Steward to speak to him about his experiences as an AIB student, and how completing an MBA from AIB has helped to change his life.
How has completing an MBA changed your life?
It formalised a lot of the management knowledge that I already thought I knew about and now really do know about. It gave me the first principles to embrace middle and senior level management, and engage in those difficult ideas and strategic considerations that are necessary to disrupt the status quo and take the organization to a different and desirable future stage.
Has the MBA from AIB helped you to achieve your personal and career goals?
Sure. My life, I would say it is about discipline and academic achievements – and you definitely get that from completing an MBA. Also, in terms of my career, it has helped in my goal to earn a promotion.
What is the one piece of advice you would give to prospective students who were considering studying the MBA from AIB?
I would say you have to be dedicated, and you have to choose to prioritise your studies. You may need to consider abandoning some behaviours and practices and stop procrastinating, in order to dedicate your life to the MBA because it’s very intensive. It’s about dedication and discipline – but the reward is fantastic.
