What is the AIB MBA?

AIB is registered by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). Our qualifications are accredited by TEQSA within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) meaning they are equivalent in standing to those issued by Australian universities and recognised internationally.  

No bachelor’s degree? You may still qualify. AIB has multiple entry pathways, including ones that value your professional experience, subject to meeting other entry requirements. This makes postgraduate education accessible to professionals with diverse backgrounds.

You don’t have to wait months for a new semester to get started. With 12 intakes every year, you can begin your AIB MBA on your terms, when it best fits into your life and work schedule. 

The AIB MBA is divided into three stages: the Graduate Certificate in Management, Graduate Diploma in Management and the MBA. You can start with the GCM and then continue your MBA studies when you are ready, or if you need to exit the MBA early, you can still achieve a postgraduate qualification.

Rather than long semesters with multiple courses, you’ll generally study one subject at a time for deeper engagement. Each subject runs for seven weeks followed by one week to reflect and recharge. You’ll receive your learning materials and key assessment dates two weeks in advance, helping you plan ahead and balance your workload.

AIB’s online learning approach doesn’t mean simply uploading PDFs and lecture recordings. Our innovative learning portal is easy to navigate and gives you 24/7 access to your learning materials, interactive webinars, support services, study tips and practical assignments that keep you engaged.

The myAIB app puts your MBA in your pocket. Download subjects to study offline, get push notifications for assessment and webinar dates, and stream audio content on the go – so you can learn while commuting, working out or waiting at school pick-up. Available on Google Play and on the Apple App Store.

Studying online doesn’t mean studying alone. You’ll have access to a wide range of resources and services designed to help you feel connected and motivated throughout your studies. This includes free, confidential counselling through Converge International’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
