Online Learning Facilitators (HR/Management & Financial Management)

About the role

Currently we are looking for casual Online Learning Facilitators to provide outstanding teaching experiences for our students in the following subject areas:

  • HR/Management (specifically – strategic Human Resource Management, Organisational Learning and Design, Managing Change, Managing People in a Global Context and Strategic Management)
  • Financial Management and Corporate Governance

An Online Learning Facilitator (OLF) will deliver online classes under the guidance of the Subject Co-ordinator, Director of Academic Operations, or delegate. OLFs will deliver classes using AIB content and assessments. OLFs will provide assistance and support to students in all academic matters relating to the subject, deliver webinars in the subject, mark subject assessments, and provide feedback to students about marked assessment items. OLFs are required to remain up-to-date in their discipline area by participating in professional development. In addition, all Online Facilitators must adhere to AIB standards and protocols.

About you

To be considered you are required to meet the following selection criteria:

  • PhD level qualification in business or business-related discipline; or Masters level qualification in business disciplines PLUS significant relevant professional and/or management experience within the same discipline
  • Experience in teaching subjects in one or more of the above disciplines
  • Experience teaching within the Australian higher education sector; previous online teaching experience is preferred.
  • Teaching experience at the post-graduate level; previous MBA teaching experience is preferred Customer service focus and strong people skills
  • Demonstrated high standard of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Must have the right to work in Australia

Lecturer – Level A, Finance 

About the role

Currently we are looking for casual Online Learning Facilitators to provide outstanding teaching experiences for our studThis full-time, permanent role is based in Adelaide, South Australia. As a Lecturer – Level A (Teaching Scholar) in Finance, you will contribute to high-quality teaching, academic support, scholarship and continuous program improvement across AIB’s business qualifications. 

You will be responsible for delivering engaging online teaching, maintaining academic standards, developing learning materials, and supporting students throughout their studies. You will also participate in scholarship and professional development activities that enhance your discipline expertise and academic practice. 

Key Responsibilities

Preparing/updating/reviewing learning materials, assessments and solutions to ensure a quality student learning experience 

  • Standard teaching allocation, with one teaching-free period each year 
  • Interacting pro-actively with students through webinars and the learning management system (e.g. forum) 
  • Providing academic support to students 
  • Marking and moderating assessments 
  • Documenting student interactions and updating the student system accordingly 
  • Assessing exemption / credit transfer requests 
  • Sharing and presenting knowledge and expertise internally and/or externally at conferences as required 
  • Participating in the development of student support initiatives  
  • Actively participating in AIB’s Academic Scholarship Program 
  • Coordination of online facilitators 
  • Active involvement in the scholarly portal 
  • Maintain scholarly active status 

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

  • PhD in Finance 
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Finance at postgraduate level

Academic Integrity Investigations Officer 0.6FTE

About the role

Currently we are looking for casual Online Learning Facilitators to provide outstanding teaching experiences for our studThe Academic Integrity Investigations Officer ensures compliance with institutional policies on academic and student misconduct, supports investigations into breaches, and promotes a culture of honesty, fairness, and ethical behaviour across the institute.

This role combines administrative, investigative, and educational functions, ensuring the integrity of assessment and conduct processes while promoting awareness and prevention. The Officer plays a key part in maintaining compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 and TEQSA guidance on academic and research integrity.

This position supports the Academic Integrity Team in cultivating a culture of ethical scholarship and transparency across the Institute.

Key Responsibilities

This position is accountable for the following responsibilities:

Case Assessment and Investigation

  • Conduct thorough assessments and investigations into allegations of academic integrity or conduct breaches (e.g. plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating, misuse of generative AI, and other forms of outsourcing).
  • Receive and triage referrals from staff, systems, or external sources, determining jurisdiction, severity, and next steps.
  • Gather and evaluate evidence (e.g. similarity reports, assessment artefacts, LMS logs, viva transcripts).
  • Prepare comprehensive case briefings, allegation notices, interview records, and recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Ensure procedural fairness, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all investigation processes.

Case Management and Administration

  • Manage the full lifecycle of cases—from initial referral to outcome and appeal.
  • Draft formal correspondence, schedule meetings, record decisions, and track sanctions.
  • Maintain secure, auditable records in institutional systems.
  • Support compliance with privacy, FOI, and record-keeping standards.

Stakeholder Engagement and Education

  • Advise students and staff on academic integrity and conduct policies, processes, and evidence requirements.
  • Deliver training to academic and professional staff on investigation protocols, prevention strategies, and assessment design that discourages misconduct.
  • Educate students about ethical academic behaviour and the implications of breaches.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to embed academic integrity principles in learning and assessment design.

 Data, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  • Track case volumes, processing times, and outcome trends to support data-driven improvements.
  • Produce periodic (semester and annual) reports for senior management and TEQSA submissions.
  • Identify emerging misconduct patterns, particularly in relation to AI-assisted work, and recommend preventive strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of support materials, policy documents, and communication resources that enhance institutional integrity culture.

Policy, Compliance, and Risk

  • Support the preparation of evidence for regulatory reviews and risk assessments.
  • Apply relevant institutional policies and ensure alignment with national standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Keep abreast of TEQSA integrity guidance and legislative requirements, including the prohibition on commercial cheating services.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
