Join us at Transit Rooftop Bar for an evening with fellow students, alumni and AIB staff! Enjoy drinks and canapés starting at 5:30pm on the 5th of February.

On the night, we’ll be joined by AIB graduate Paul Coniglio, Managing Director of Formul8, a second-generation Australian business in architectural finishes, signage and surface solutions. Four years ago, he acquired the 35-year-old family business and has since led a full rebuild of its structure and direction.

During the session, Paul will share his experience of acquiring and transforming a legacy business while completing his MBA. Drawing on both formal study and hands-on leadership, he’ll speak about applying strategic thinking in practice, from using AI tools in meaningful ways to building advantage through structure and positioning in competitive markets. He’ll also reflect on leading teams through change while navigating skills shortages, margin pressure and ongoing economic uncertainty.
