AIB doubles graduate numbers at 2016 Graduation Ceremony
AIB has doubled its graduate turnout at its most recent Graduation Ceremony, held on Friday 11th November at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
More than 400 graduates from 16 countries celebrated the culmination of their studies at the AIB Graduation Ceremony, doubling last year’s figures and marking a new benchmark for AIB as the largest graduation ceremony to date.
The ceremony was attended by more than 1,600 graduates, guests, staff members, and industry guests, many of whom travelled interstate or internationally for the event.
AIB MBA Alumnus and The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese, conferred the awards and addressed the attendees with an inspiring speech as to the importance of education.
Attendees were also delighted to hear from AIB’s guest speaker, Peter Alexander, who shared his entrepreneurial experience as Founder of Peter Alexander Sleepwear, where he turned a dining room table business into Australia’s leading sleepwear designer brand.
Congratulations to Leanne Smith, who received the AIB 2016 MBA Valedictorian and GMAA awards for the highest academic achievement, as well as to the 2016 AIB class of graduates.
