Pieter, AIB Graduate

The AIB MBA is made up of 12 subjects across three nested awards: the Graduate Certificate in Management (GCM), the Graduate Diploma in Management (GDM) and the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

There are 8 compulsory core subjects, plus the final Project subject, that every MBA student completes as part of the program. These subjects lay the foundation for your learning experience, equipping you with essential business knowledge and practical skills that are relevant across industries. They also ensure you meet the full academic requirements for the MBA qualification.

The core curriculum is structured to blend theory with practical application. You’ll learn how to apply concepts in real-world business scenarios so you can immediately start translating your learning into better outcomes at work. Throughout each subject, you’ll also develop critical skills such as problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication and ethical decision-making

Leadership and Strategic Management are the first and second subjects in the MBA. From the third subject onwards, you can progress through the remaining core subjects in the order that suits your schedule and goals.

The Final Project is the capstone of your MBA journey, enabling you to integrate and showcase the expertise developed during the program. Therefore, this subject is designed to be completed last.
